Description
This cultivar of Red Maple has an round shape with strong wood, reaching a height of 45 to 50 feet. This is a fast growing tree which develops a dense rounded shape. Leaves are star-shaped and green during the summer. Leaves are arranged in an opposite fashion and are simple. Trees are often shorter in the southern part of its range unless growing next to a stream or on a wet site.
Flowering begins in April. The flowers are red and not all that notable.
