The Syringa Patula is also commonly known
as the Miss Kim Lilac.
It is a small hardy deciduous shrub which
has single fragrant, pale lilac flowers. It grows to a height of 6 to 8
feet with a spread of 4 to 5 feet.
The foliage is green and is rounded, oval
in shape. The fall color is burgundy-red and the flowers are lavender.
The Miss Kim Lilac blooms after other lilacs
have finished. Larger leaves than meyeri.
