The Morus Alba Pendula (Weeping Mulberry
or Weeping White Mulberry) is a popular ornamental plant.
The Weeping Mulberry is a dwarf, weeping
cultivar of White Mulberry (Morus Alba) and typically grows to only 6 to
10 feet tall with its somewhat gnarled branches weeping to the ground.
Inconspicuous greenish-white flowers bloom
in spring. Fertilized flowers are followed by berry-like fruits that are
edible.
The glossy, usually lobed, rounded, dark
green leaves (to 8 inches long) turn a yellow color in the fall.
